Serving Cornwall, Tamar Valley, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and beyond

  • Walks and tours can be arranged based on any of my scheduled walks or on an idea of your own.
  • Single days or multi-day trips available including South West Coast Path and Tamara Way either as

- fully guided walking or

- bespoke self guided itineraries

  • These can be accessed by private vehicle or, as my business is a very environmentally conscious one, I can schedule your tour using public transport:

- Cornish and Devon railway lines give some of the best views.

- There are no traffic jams or parking problems in the height of the season.

- My attention is all yours, not shared with the demands of driving.

TV Location tours

  • I am a former supporting artist on BBC TV Poldark and able to take you to many Cornish locations and give you behind-the-scenes insights into the characters and filming which is rare amongst guides.
  • 90 minute and full day Beyond Paradise tours now listed.

About me

My family dates back to 1531 in Cornwall - and probably beyond but it gets difficult to trace further.

Amongst other things, there is a long association with China Clay, including a 'Cap'n' of the port at Charlestown and one of my own sons currently working in the industry. We also have a connection with Heligan House.

Aside from guiding, I work as a model. This led to an offshoot occupation as a sometime supporting artist, including several appearances on BBCTV Poldark. (See short video below from S4 when my costume was dark green dress/black hat and cape, so you can spot the tiny glimpses!)

Throughout my life I have been a keen walker and walked a great deal with my own children from age three to their late teens. I still often walk with my lovely granddaughter, who is sometimes to be found on public scheduled walks, where she makes an excellent wing-man.
